Lock Plate Set

Description

Lock plates are small, dark and easy to drop over the side of a boat or leave on the sand when fins get pulled apart for packing, which is why a spare set in the save-a-dive box is money well spent. This is the part joining a Modular Fin System blade to its foot pocket, four plates per set, two right and two left, enough for a pair of fins. Seawing Supernova and S-TEK blades are moulded separately from their pockets, so these plates carry the load between the two and are also what lets a blade move from an open heel pocket to a full foot one. Seven colours are stocked, and the colour choice doubles as a way to mark a personal pair in club kit. The Modular Fin System Multi-Tool assembles and strips them, sold separately. Fitment is the Modular Fin System alone, so a Seawing Nova or Go Sport fin takes none. It suits an MFS owner keeping spares or changing colour.
