LP Hose Aqua Flex 0.7m - Legend 2/3

Description

Low pressure hoses are consumables with a quiet failure mode: they weep rather than burst, and a weep is usually discovered as an unexplained gas loss over a dive rather than as an obvious fault. Replacing one on schedule is far cheaper than diagnosing it. This is the Aqua Lung low pressure hose for the Legend range, a 70 cm braided flex hose in black with a 3/8 inch low pressure thread, and using the genuine part means the fitting and length are matched rather than approximated. Length matters more than it looks: a hose that is too long loops out where a line can find it, and one that is too short pulls a second stage across the face when the head is turned. Hoses should be replaced on any sign of cracking at the swage rather than at a fixed interval. It suits a Legend owner replacing a hose or a technician stocking parts.
