LP Hose Superflow

Description

Hose length is a routing decision, not a detail. Cut too short and the second stage pulls against the jaw every time the head turns; run too long and it loops out where a shot line can catch it. Five lengths cover the choices: 20 cm, 56 cm, 65 cm, 75 cm and 1.2 m. The 20 cm exists because a sidemount second stage sits alongside its first stage rather than over the shoulder, and the 65 cm is the length listed for the Air2 and the balanced power inflator. What makes these Super-Flow rather than standard is bore: the larger internal diameter carries more air on each inhalation without raising the pressure behind it. The jacket is rubber, so the hose sinks and lies against the rig instead of floating. Fitting takes two spanners, and an open low pressure port should be plugged before storage. It suits a diver routing a set deliberately.
