Description

Backscatter is what ruins a torch beam in murky water, because a narrow spot lights every particle between the diver and the subject. The Luna-X carries two beam types, flood and spot, usable separately or combined, so the beam is matched to the water rather than fought. On a silty inland dive flood mode lights a wide area without the glare. On a wreck the spot reaches. On a team dive the wide beam is what makes underwater signalling readable. It mounts to a buoyancy compensator or a cylinder and rotates for sidemount use. An LED fuel gauge reports remaining run time in hours and minutes. The battery is under the airline limit and the light head detaches, which is what makes it a torch that can actually be flown with. Corrosion resistant, light and strong. It suits a technical diver who dives murky water or travels.
