Description

The blade is 8.5 centimetres of 304-grade hard-tempered stainless steel, which takes an edge and resists surface oxidation, ending in a Tanto tip whose angled shape is among the strongest points available on a knife. It carries a conventional edge for slicing, a serrated edge for sawing heavier rope and branches, a line-cutting notch for fishing line and a bottle opener. That notch cuts monofilament without bringing the blade near a hose or a bladder, so a fouled fin is cleared at depth. Overall length is 19 centimetres, weighing 92 grams alone and 190 in the sheath, whose quick release opens with one hand. A wide gripping area and a thumb guard stop the hand slipping forward. Stainless steel asks for a rinse and a dry. It suits a recreational diver wanting one general-purpose knife.
