Mares Atlas 62X + Rover BCD Set

Description

Cold water tends to find the weak point in a rig, usually the regulator, so this set puts the all-metal Mares Atlas 62X on the Mares Rover jacket. Mares recommends its all-metal second stage for extremely cold water, and the large pivoting purge button can be pressed through thick gloves. The 62X first stage adds a DFC port for high airflow at any depth, pre-oriented ports and Auto Sealing Technology to keep it dry. The Rover jacket is UV-protected 1000 denier Cordura, with lift rising from 140 N in XXS to 240 N in XXL, height-adjustable shoulder buckles and pockets shaped for the octopus and gauge. No octopus is included, which leaves room to add the alternate air source that suits the diver's training. That covers a diver upgrading the regulator on a school-style jacket, cold shore dives, and a club rig that needs to last. It suits a diver who wants a better regulator on a tough, simple jacket.
