Mares Atlas Adj 62X + Magellan HD Set

Description

Divers who move between warm reefs and cold, deep sites rarely want one fixed breathing setting, and this set pairs the adjustable Mares Atlas ADJ 62X with the Mares Magellan HD. On the Atlas ADJ, a side knob sets breathing effort on an all-metal second stage that pairs Vortex Assisted Design and Pneumatic Assisted Design with a large pivoting purge button. The pearl chrome 62X first stage has Auto Sealing Technology and Dynamic Flow Control on every low pressure port, and the regulator weighs 1017 g in DIN. The Magellan HD keeps its 180 N of lift behind the diver, splits lead between removable Standard System weight pockets and trim pockets, and comes in black or blue. No octopus is included, which leaves room to add the alternate air source that suits the diver's training. That covers cold quarry and ocean dives, a drysuit diver who wants flat trim, and deep dives where breathing effort counts. It suits a diver who wants back-inflation trim and a regulator for cold, deep water.
