Drysuit Hanger

Description

A drysuit stored folded or on a clothes hanger creases at the seals and zip, and a suit with boots attached is too heavy at the feet for a normal hanger to carry. Mares build this hanger for exactly that suit. It supports the drysuit with its boots on, and a swivel hook lets the whole suit turn freely on the rail so air moves through it and the inside dries evenly after a rinse. Hanging it this way keeps the zip straight rather than folded, which is kinder to the teeth and the seal, and it keeps the boots from dragging on the floor. It is useful between dives on a weekend away, for drying a suit in the garage after a cold-water shore dive, and for dive centres storing rental drysuits in a row. Rinse the suit and hang it out of direct sun. It suits a drysuit diver with a boot-fitted suit.
