Its foot pocket is made for comfort, and the blade uses a light version of the Mares OPB, Optimised Pivoting Blade, system, which makes an easy kick efficient. The construction is built to last. On a beach snorkel along a reef edge it pulls on quickly at the water. In the pool for a first session with fins it gives an easy, even kick. On a warm-water boat trip it is hard-wearing enough to share the kit crate with heavier gear. There are no straps or buckles to adjust, so it is ready as soon as it is on.
