Mares Snorkel @ Foldable Snorkel

Description

A snorkel clipped to a mask for a whole dive snags on kelp and drags in current, which is why many divers leave theirs behind and then miss it on a long surface swim. The Mares Snorkel @ solves that by rolling up. Made entirely of silicone, it folds into its own storage shell, and the shell carries a lanyard to clip it to a BCD or drop it into a pocket. On a drift dive it stays tucked away until the diver surfaces, and on a flight with a strict baggage limit it takes up almost no room. Its ergonomic curve wraps close to the head for less drag when finning, and the top is shaped to limit water entry while snorkelling. There is no purge valve, so it clears with a firm breath out. It suits a diver who wants a snorkel on hand at the surface without wearing one through the dive.
