Mares Hand Line Cutter Beta Titanium

Description

Thin monofilament is easy to cut, but a snag on thicker guideline or rope needs a tool with a wider mouth, and the titanium XR cutter has an expandable side for exactly that. It is made from beta titanium alloy hardened to 51 HRC, with excellent resistance to abrasion and corrosion. Mares position it as a primary cutting tool for technical diving, and the handle has a hook and loop closure. A dedicated case protects it between dives. On a wreck wrapped in old fishing line, a cave dive with guideline to manage, or a deep technical dive where a hand-free cutter is part of the standard kit, it covers the job.
