Description

A BCD cut on a man's torso rides up, gaps at the chest and squeezes the waist, and the Magellan HD She Dives is shaped to avoid that. Mares gave it a female-specific fit that follows the natural shape of the body, an ergonomic shoulder construction and extra cushioning on the Monoplate backpack. Its back-mounted bladder delivers 180 N (18.5 kg) of lift, and two removable Standard System weight pockets plus removable trim pockets let the lead be balanced precisely. Knife grommets on the left pocket, elastic octopus retainers on the right, a roll-down zipped pocket, a sleeve for the optional Mares titanium line cutter and five stainless D-rings keep kit organised. That covers a reef week with a camera clipped on, a drift dive carrying an SMB, and a diver finally replacing a rental jacket that did not fit. It suits a woman who wants back-inflation trim in a BCD cut for her.
