Mares Marker Beam

Description

A flashing light tells a boat crew or a buddy where a diver is, and the Marker Beam is a compact signal stick made for that. It flashes underwater, giving a clearly visible signal for an emergency or for marking a position. It is compact enough to clip to a BCD by its lanyard or tuck in a pocket for the whole dive, and it runs on three LR44 batteries, which Mares say ensure reliable functioning in all conditions. On a night dive it marks each diver so the group can be counted at a glance. On a dusk boat dive it helps the skipper spot divers surfacing, and on a shore dive it can mark the exit point. It suits a night diver, a dive guide or any diver who wants a small emergency signal light in the kit.
