Mares Maximus Knife

Description

One tool that cuts line, turns a screw and opens a bottle saves carrying three, and the Maximus was designed to give a classic dive knife that wider range of work. Blade and handle are made from 440 stainless steel, 4mm thick, with a PVD coating to protect against corrosion in the water. Along its 230mm length it combines a straight edge, a serrated edge, a line cutter, screwdrivers, a bottle opener and a blunt tip. It comes in a Cordura sheath with loops and straps, so it can be worn on the arm, the ankle or a belt. A wreck dive near old fishing line, a liveaboard where a screw on a camera tray works loose, and a relaxed evening on the boat all find a use for it. It suits a diver who wants a full-size, multi-use knife that does more than cut.
