Mares MC-100 Knife

Description

A dive knife earns its place when it can be drawn and returned with one hand while the other grips a line or a buddy, and the MC-100 is built around a one-handed clip. The sheath is solid plastic with a clip that opens and closes easily, and it fits the knife mount grommets on Mares BCDs so the knife sits where the hand expects it. The 100mm blade is 420 stainless steel with a straight edge, a serrated edge for rope and a line cutter for monofilament, finished with a flat tip rather than a point. The handle is a large moulded grip. It stays on a BCD ready for a tangle with fishing line on a reef, a stubborn cable tie on the boat, or a line to cut at the end of a drift dive. It suits a recreational diver who wants a practical, BCD-mounted knife.
