Mares Neutron Knife

Description

A compact knife gets worn on every dive, while a big one often gets left in the bag, and the Neutron keeps the multi-tool design of a larger knife in a 137mm package. It is made from 440 stainless steel, 4mm thick and hardened to 55 to 56 HRC, with a PVD coating to prevent corrosion. The design gives a straight edge, a serrated edge, a line cutter, screwdrivers, a bottle opener and a blunt tip. A Cordura sheath with belt loops and straps lets it sit on a BCD waist strap, a harness or a forearm. It suits the small jobs that come up on a dive trip: cutting free a length of monofilament on a reef, tightening a loose screw on a torch mount, or opening a drink on the boat after the last dive. It suits a diver who wants a small, capable knife that stays on the rig.
