Mares Octopus SXS

Description

A bulky octopus hanging off the chest catches on reefs and fills a travel bag, and the Mares Octopus SXS is built on the smallest, most compact second stage Mares make. The case is ultralight technopolymer, and Vortex Assisted Design with a curved bypass tube keeps airflow high. On a travel rig packed into a carry-on, that compact size is exactly why Mares point travelling divers to it. On a boat dive where the octopus may need to come from either side, it can be set up with the hose from the left or the right. The lateral exhaust tube gives better visibility in all diving positions, and the yellow front and hose make it easy for a buddy to spot. It suits a travelling diver, or an SXS 62X owner, who wants a streamlined backup second stage.
