Mares Planet 88X TBP Regulator DIN

Description

Most second stages close their valve with a spring, which adds mechanical resistance to every breath, and the Mares Planet 88X TBP is the first second stage built without one. Airmatic Technology replaces the spring with a pneumatic valve, and Vortex Assisted Design keeps the flow high with minimal breathing effort. On a winter shore dive, the all-metal second stage and the TBP Dry Kit first stage are made for extremely cold water, while Auto Sealing Technology keeps the first stage dry and free of debris. On a deep wreck, Natural DFC on every low pressure port maximises gas delivery, and an integrated overpressure valve keeps the regulator breathable if intermediate pressure rises. For a rig carrying a drysuit hose and a torch, four ports on a 360 degree swivel head plus a fifth in-line port leave room to route everything cleanly.
