Power Plana Black Tec Fins

Description

Mares describe the Power Plana as a practically indestructible rubber fin, designed primarily for extended range and technical diving. Mares mould it in high-density natural rubber with reinforced ribs and drainage channels. The high density of the rubber makes it negatively buoyant, and the fin performs well in every kick style, the frog kick in particular. In a drysuit with a steel backplate the weight of the fin helps hold the feet down in trim. On a long cave swim the blade responds to small back kicks for fine positioning. On a training dive in cold, dark water its full-length open foot pocket takes a drysuit boot. This is the black version, and it is built to take the Mares Spring Strap for Tec Fins, with a size S fin matching strap size R. It suits a smaller-footed technical diver after a proven, hard-wearing rubber fin.
