Mares Power Plana Tactical Green Fins

Description

Divers in a drysuit with a steel backplate often find their feet floating up, and a buoyant fin makes that trim problem worse at every stop. The Power Plana Tactical Green is moulded in high-density natural rubber that is negatively buoyant, which helps keep the legs down in a flat frog kick position. On a cave dive it is built for the frog kick that moves a diver along without lifting silt, and the reinforced side ribs add durability and flexibility to the blade. In cold local water the metal spring straps, with a nylon cover and a nylon pull tab, make the fins easier to put on. Multiple strap positions allow the fit to be set for the boot being worn. Mares designed the fin for technical diving, including cave exploration. It suits a technical or cave diver in a drysuit who needs a negatively buoyant fin built for frog kicking.
