Mares Silicone Mask Strap

Description

A strap snapping as a mask goes on at the start of a dive is a small failure that cancels a whole dive, and this Mares silicone strap is the replacement to keep in the kit bag. Mares describe it as a universal replacement mask strap, 14 mm wide and 560 mm long, in black or clear. On a liveaboard a spare strap saves a diver from borrowing a mask that does not fit, and for an older mask whose strap has gone sticky or brittle it restores a secure hold on the head. Mares pair the black strap with black Liquidskin masks and the clear strap with transparent Liquidskin masks, so the colour can match the skirt. It suits a diver or snorkeller who wants a spare or replacement silicone mask strap.
