Mares Standard Weight System (Pair)

Description

A torn or lost weight pocket takes a jacket out of the water, and a spare pair also lets two divers share one BCD with different lead needs. These are the Mares Standard System pockets: two zipped pouches that slide into a compatible BCD and fasten with a buckle, easy to handle in thick gloves. Mares rates the small set at 4 kg and the large set at 6 kg. Mares specifies the small pockets for the Rock Pro in size S and the Magellan in XXS/XS and S/M, and the large pockets for the Rock Pro in M and L and the Magellan in L/XL. They are designed as add-ons for BCDs that use the Mares Standard buckle weight system. That covers replacing a pocket after a tear, moving up to the large size for a drysuit season, and a dive centre keeping spares on the shelf. They suit a diver with a Mares BCD built on the Standard System.
