Mares Torpedo Buoy

Description

Towing a round float against a current is hard work on a long freediving or spearfishing session, and the Torpedo buoy is shaped to slip through the water instead. Its torpedo profile makes towing on the surface easy, and the bright orange body stays visible to passing boats, which counts when diving close to a busy launch site. A double air chamber adds safety and helps the buoy sit in a vertical position. It comes with 20 m of line, and six universal attachment loops take accessories such as a dive flag. It works as a float for spearfishing along a reef, a base for freediving line training and a surface marker for a snorkel group. It suits a freediver, spearfisher or snorkel guide who tows a float on the surface.
