Description

A full wetsuit is often more neoprene than warm water calls for, and a 2.5mm shorty keeps the torso covered while the arms and legs stay free to move. The Mares Tropic is that shorty in a men's cut, black with light grey shoulder panels and red side panels, short sleeves and legs that finish above the knee. On a reef holiday it takes the edge off the second and third dives of the day, when the body has already given up heat on the first. For a snorkeller floating face down for an hour, it covers the back and shoulders from the sun as well as the chill. It also earns a place for a swim off the boat or a session on a paddle board, where a long suit would be too much. It is offered in size XS. It suits a man who dives or snorkels in warm water and wants a light shorty rather than a full suit.
