X-Stream Fins

Description

Water that stalls behind the foot acts like a small parachute on every kick, and the X-Stream is designed to get rid of it. Its foot pocket is perforated so water flows through instead of collecting, which also removes the suction that slows the fin at the end of a stroke. The OPB, Optimised Pivoting Blade, keeps the blade at an efficient angle through the kick, and three specific materials give the fin elasticity, durability and resistance to wear. On a current dive that gives steady thrust without a heavy, tiring blade. On a long reef swim it stays light at 0.7 kg a fin in size R. On a shore entry the bungee strap makes it quick to put on at the water's edge. The joints where the foot pocket meets the blade absorb kinetic energy, and a wide central flap channels water down the blade. It suits a diver with a small boot size who wants a light, high-efficiency open heel fin.
