Mares X-Tream Mask

Description

Every descent costs a freediver a little air to keep the mask equalised, so the less space inside the mask, the more of the breath is left for the dive. The X-Tream is an ultra-low volume Mares mask with an overmoulded frame and anatomical face piece that sit the lenses close to the eyes, which also widens the field of view. Its minimalist strap and redesigned ergonomic buckles cut drag, the strap carries an integrated snorkel holder, and a relief area over the nose is shaped to take a nose clip. On a spearfishing dive along a reef it keeps equalisation to a minimum and gives a wide view for spotting fish. In a pool freediving session it seals comfortably through repeated duck dives. At the surface between dives the snorkel stays where the diver left it on the strap. The anti-reflective finish cuts glare in bright, shallow water. It suits a freediver or spearfisher who wants a light, low-volume mask with a wide view.
