Mares X-Vision Mask

Description

A mask that presses across the bridge of the nose is the one that comes off in irritation at the safety stop, and the Mares X-Vision is shaped to prevent it. Small horizontal ribs between frame and skirt, which Mares call Tri-Comfort, spread the frame's pressure around the nose, and the field of view is about 20 per cent wider than the model it replaced. On a warm reef dive that wider view puts more of the reef in sight without turning the head, and on a long drift it keeps a buddy in the corner of the eye. On a cold shore dive the side buckles still adjust with thick gloves on. For a diver who needs a prescription, the twin lenses accept Mares corrective lenses, sold separately. It suits a diver who wants a moderate-volume twin-lens mask that stays comfortable through a full day of diving.
