Description

In an overhead environment the arrow on the line is the one piece of information that points the way home when the visibility goes, which is why every penetration dive leans on them. The Mares XR Cave Line Arrows are injection moulded ABS with rounded corners so they do not snag gloves or cut the line, and grooves that lock the guideline in place once the arrow is wrapped on. A flat area takes a name or initials so a team can identify its own markers, and holes accept rings or other identification accessories. The arrows work as both a visual and a tactile reference, which counts when a silt-out means following the line by touch. They come in packs of five in lime green, orange or white, useful for giving each diver on a team a colour. Mares also make matching cookies for intersections and plain markers for a specific point. They suit a cave, wreck or technical diver who lays and follows guidelines.
