Mares XR Sidemount Hip Rings (Pair)

Description

A hip ring that creeps along the webbing drags a sidemount cylinder out of position, and the diver spends the dive nudging it back. The Mares XR hip rings fix to the harness waist strap as a right and left pair, and the slots are knurled so the ring stays where it is set instead of sliding. They are laser cut and engraved from grade 316 stainless steel, pre-shaped for any sidemount configuration and tested hard by Mares, and the pair weighs 105 g. They sit alongside the other modular XR plates, so the harness can be built up piece by piece. That covers a diver setting up a first sidemount harness, a cave diver adjusting cylinder angle, and a wreck diver who wants hardware that stays put.
