Mares XR Sidemount Weight Pocket

Description

A sidemount harness has no rear weight pocket to carry lead, so extra weight has to go somewhere on the webbing without getting in the way of the cylinders. The Mares XR side weight pocket adds up to 4 kg wherever it is needed, on a shoulder strap or on the waist strap, and fits any Mares XR harness. The body is 1200 denier ballistic nylon with a 600 denier polyester exterior, closed with a high-strength hook-and-loop flap and a single locking system that stays shut in cold water. An integrated flat D-ring gives another clip point for a light or a reel. That covers a drysuit diver needing more lead on a sidemount rig, a diver balancing a heavy steel cylinder on one side, and a backmount diver adding trim weight to a harness. It suits a diver on a Mares XR harness who needs to fine-tune weight.
