Description

Traditional wing nuts on a twin set have edges that catch on gloves and drysuit fabric. These Mares XR thumbwheels replace them with round, knurled AISI 316 stainless steel nuts that fix a backplate to twin cylinder bolts with no sharp parts. The knurled edge gives an easy grip, which helps when mounting or removing the plate on a boat or at the kerb. They measure 28 mm across, in 14 mm or 18 mm lengths, with a centre hole, and come as a pair.
