Maui EBS Fin Strap

Description

Elastic fin straps fail in one predictable way: the rubber perishes where sunlight and salt reach it, and it goes without warning. The EBS strap fitted to the Maui is covered in fabric for exactly that reason, shielding the elastic elements from perishing, and it is supplied here as a pair so both fins are renewed together rather than one at a time. The heel piece is soft anatomical rubber, and the grab handle used to pull the fin on wraps around the ankle rather than standing proud, which stops it chafing while swimming and removes a snag point. A cleat on the elastic allows the tension to be set rather than accepted. Four colours are offered, useful for telling identical fins apart on a busy beach.
