Description

Five millimetres over the head and three over the body is a deliberate split: the head is where heat leaves fastest, and extra bulk across the chest would only fight the suit worn over the top. That makes this the cheapest real warmth upgrade open to a wetsuit diver. Layered under a 5mm suit it takes the core to 8mm and covers the head for the first time; under a Xenos 7mm it makes 10mm over the core, which is the pairing Fourth Element publish for their coldest wetsuit work. The neoprene has a smooth outer face so it slides under a wetsuit rather than gripping it, with a thermal inner lining against the skin. The hood carries a smoothskin seal at the face to cut water ingress and micro holes through the crown that vent trapped air on descent. It is cut sleeveless so the shoulders stay free. Seven sizes run X Small to 3X Large in black. It suits a wetsuit diver wanting more warmth without a new suit.
