Description

On a boat where space is tight, a smock that lives in the top of a bag beats a coat that needs its own, and this one packs down to exactly that. The value sits in the lining: a grid-effect fleece backing the shell, giving real warmth without the bulk of an insulated jacket. Outside it, a tough water-resistant ripstop turns rain away and cuts the wind, which on an exposed coastal site is worth more than any insulation figure. A half zip at the chest handles entry, a fixed hood sits above it, and a kangaroo pocket spans the front for cold hands. One layer then covers wind, drizzle and a chilly surface interval without committing to a full waterproof shell. Sizing spans X Small through 3X Large in black. When the weather turns properly the Atlantic three-in-one is the full waterproof answer, while the Storm Poncho and Tidal Robe exist for changing rather than for wearing. It suits a diver on an exposed coastal site.
