Aqualung Metal AL50 300bar SPG

Description

A pressure gauge on too short a hose forces a diver to lift the whole console to read it, and on too long a hose it trails where a line can find it. The AL50 comes on an 80 cm hose, which is the length that reaches the eye from a left hip clip without a loop hanging loose. The gauge itself is rated to 300 bar working pressure with an easy-to-read scale, built around a shock-resistant Bourdon tube so it survives being dropped onto a boat deck rather than reading two hundred bar out from that day forward. A green nitrox and oxygen version is available, certified to EN 13949:2003, which is what allows it on a cylinder carrying an enriched mix rather than only air. That answers a rental fleet, a technical diver wanting a mechanical backup, and a console being rebuilt around a new computer. It suits a diver replacing a tired gauge or building a console from parts.
