Description

The knife a diver carries is the one that is small enough to forget about, and a full-size blade on a BCD gets left at home once it has snagged a line for the third time. The Micro Squeeze is 9.5 cm of blade at 18.4 cm overall, small enough to sit on a shoulder strap or a hose without being noticed and still enough edge to cut line. The blade is 304 stainless steel for corrosion resistance, and the handle and sheath are nylon with fibreglass fill, which takes impact and abrasion far better than plain plastic. This one has the blunt tip, so it cannot puncture a drysuit or a buoyancy cell while cutting close to the body. The sheath releases by squeezing a ridged bolster, deliberate enough that it does not unsheath by accident. It suits a diver who wants a knife they will actually carry every dive.
