MICROMASK X + WRAP COMBO - BLUE

This Aqua Lung set puts the Micromask X mask and Wrap snorkel together in blue. It is a freediving pairing, chosen for low internal volume and an uninterrupted view of the line.

The Micromask X sets its lenses inside the ocular orbit, which is what produces the low internal volume a freediver equalises on almost no air, and bonds lens, skirt and frame into one piece. The Wrap snorkel rolls into a fist-sized case, supplied, and clears by blast because it carries no purge valve. Counterposed push-button strap adjusters can be worked with thick gloves on, and the one-piece build means the lenses cannot be replaced. The tube is flexible along its whole length, so it coils without kinking and springs back to shape when it comes out. The skirt is high-grade silicone that flexes along the contours of the face, so the seal does not depend on a rigid frame forcing the shape.

The result is a mask and snorkel matched at the counter, which counts for more on a deep descent than either piece does alone.
