Mini Island Snorkel

Description

Children are handed adult snorkels far more often than adult masks, and the result is a tube too long to clear and a mouthpiece too wide for a small jaw to hold without clenching. The Mini Island is the junior-sized version, so the bore length and the mouthpiece are scaled to a child who has less breath to clear with and a smaller mouth to hold it in. Cressi publish no technical description for the Mini Island in their current range, so no valve type, bore size or material is quoted here rather than being assumed from the adult Island or from another junior model. What is certain is that it is the smaller version of the Island, in clear. Anyone wanting a fully specified junior snorkel should look at the Top or the Seal Dry Junior. It suits a child snorkelling who has been struggling with an adult tube.
