Big Blue Mini Neoprene Pouch with Retractable Cable

Description

A backup light clipped loose on a harness swings, snags and gets forgotten until it is needed. A pouch with a retractor solves all three: the light lives in the pouch out of the way, comes out to arm's length when it is wanted, and returns on its own rather than being stowed one-handed at depth. This is the mini version, sized for Big Blue's smaller lights at 19 millimetres diameter and 168.6 millimetres length. Neoprene is the right material for the pouch because it grips the light without a fastening and takes the knocks a hard case would transmit. The retractor is what makes it a one-handed operation, which matters when the other hand is on a line. That answers a backup light on a technical rig and a compact torch on a reef dive. It suits a diver carrying a mini light where it will not snag.
