Minidry Snorkel

Description

Clearing a flooded snorkel takes a hard blast of air, and a child or a smaller adult often does not have the lung volume to do it in one go, which is where confidence in the water is lost. The Minidry removes most of the problem before it starts: an anti-splash end carries a special valve that seals the tube as the diver descends, almost entirely preventing water entering while it is submerged. What does get in collects in a dedicated cup with a large elliptical discharge valve, so expelling it is quick and easy rather than a full-lung effort. The lower end has a corrugated section, smooth on the inside, that holds the snorkel away from the mouth when a breathing apparatus is in use. It is the dry model scaled for women and children. Four colourways. It suits a child or smaller adult who struggles to clear a standard snorkel.
