Description

External intermediate pressure adjustment is the quiet economy here. A technician resets it on the bench without stripping the body, which shortens a routine service and lowers what it costs. The MK11 EVO is a balanced diaphragm first stage in forged brass, more compact than the MK11 it replaces, and a double spring layout is what buys that size reduction without costing reliability. Metal fins draw heat from the water into the valve, which is what resists a freeze on a winter dive, and plastic bumpers take the knocks a first stage collects in a kit bag. Two high pressure ports sit at 15 degrees, easing hose routing and giving a transmitter a sensible seat, while all four low pressure ports are high flow. Intermediate pressure runs 9.2 to 9.8 bar, 133 to 142 psi. The INT 232 version weighs 746 grams and it is EN 250A certified. It suits a diver building a set around a cold-rated first stage.
