SCUBAPRO MK11 EVO / S270 + R105 Octo

Description

The octopus arrives in the same box, which is the whole reason to buy a set like this rather than assemble one over two seasons. It is aimed at a diver moving off rental gear after an Open Water course. The MK11 EVO first stage is forged brass with metal thermal fins and plastic bumpers on a double spring layout, carrying two high pressure ports at 15 degrees, four high-flow low pressure ports and externally adjustable intermediate pressure of 9.2 to 9.8 bar. The S270 primary runs an air-balanced valve with a technopolymer barrel on a metal thread. The R105 octopus is a downstream valve in a metal housing on a metre of yellow Super-Flow hose, and both details matter under stress: yellow is what a buddy reaches for, and the length puts the alternate within reach without forcing a face-to-face position. Certification is EN 250A. It suits a diver buying a first complete set after certification.
