Description

Rental regulators and rental jackets change from one dive centre to the next, so a diver who owns neither relearns hoses and trim on each trip. Owning both starts here: the MK11 EVO/S270 regulator set with its R105 octopus on a 1 m yellow Super-Flow hose, packaged with the S-TEK Pure system at the SCUBAPRO set price, plus a Compact SPG or Compact Combo 2 at set price if wanted. The MK11 EVO is a forged brass balanced diaphragm first stage with metal thermal fins, two high pressure ports at 15 degrees, four high-flow low pressure ports and externally adjustable intermediate pressure of 9.2 to 9.8 bar. The S270 primary runs an air-balanced valve with a technopolymer barrel on a metal thread, and the R105 alternate sits in a metal housing. The S-TEK Pure harness is one continuous length of webbing through a 3D formed backplate, adjusted once and left at that length, with silicone epaulettes and guide bands holding the hoses. Its 13 kg Donut Wing keeps lift predictable head-down. There is no padding on it and no shoulder quick-release. It suits a newly certified diver going straight to a DIR-style plate and wing.
