MK17 EVO 2/G260
The SCUBAPRO MK17 EVO 2/G260 pairs a sealed balanced diaphragm first stage with the metal-component G260 second stage, and it is built for icy water and silty wrecks rather than for warm reefs. The MK17 EVO 2 is smaller and lighter than both the MK17 EVO and the MK19 EVO, using a forged body and a dry chamber with a twin spring layout.
The dry chamber is environmentally sealed by a dual diaphragm system that keeps contaminated water away from the mechanism, and its rib is shaped to improve heat exchange. Two opposing high pressure ports sit on a 15-degree angle, so the first stage can be worn either way up and a transmitter has somewhere clean to mount. The G260 second stage is air-balanced with metal internal components, a high-flow exhaust valve and a reversible hose attachment, which is what makes this pairing work in technical configurations.
First stage: MK17 EVO 2, sealed balanced diaphragm, forged body with dry chamber and twin spring layout, 4 high-flow low pressure and 2 high pressure ports at 15 degrees. Second stage: G260, air-balanced, metal internal components, reversible hose attachment. Connections: DIN 300 and INT 232. Part numbers 12.183.000 and 12.183.300.
