SCUBAPRO MK17 EVO2 / C370 Graphite + R105 Octo + Hydros Core Set

Description

A transmitter mounted directly on the first stage removes a console hose, and on a stripped-down BCD with no weight pockets that leaves little hanging off the diver. This set puts the MK17 EVO 2 and C370 Graphite regulator set, with its R105 octopus, on a Hydros Core at SCUBAPRO's set price. A Compact SPG or Compact Combo 2 is optional at set price, as an analogue backup. The MK17 EVO 2's two high pressure ports at 15 degrees take that transmitter directly, and its sealed dry chamber is closed by a dual diaphragm against contaminated water. The air-balanced C370 has a coaxial dive and pre-dive lever and a large purge, and its graphite frame swaps for any of six colour frames sold separately. On the Hydros Core, Tri-Bungee two-stage inflation and a balanced power inflator control the 30 lb, near 13.6 kg, Cross Flow air cell, and its straps fold into the wing. The trade-off is ballast: with no integrated weights or trim pockets, lead goes on a belt. It suits a transmitter user who wears a weight belt and travels.
