SCUBAPRO MK17 EVO2 / G260 + R105 Octo

Description

This is the cold water set in the range, and every part of it earns that description. The MK17 EVO 2 is a forged sealed balanced diaphragm first stage on a twin spring layout, closed by a dual diaphragm so only the outer face meets the water and grit stays clear of the mechanism. Four high-flow low pressure ports feed the hoses and two high pressure ports at 15 degrees let it be worn either way up, at 9.2 to 9.8 bar intermediate pressure. The G260 primary is balanced and adjustable with metal at the inlet tube, orifice, control knob and hose connector, the four points nearest the cold, and its hose attachment reverses left or right, which turns the primary into a long-hose donor for a diver moving toward technical configurations. The R105 octopus is a downstream valve in a metal housing on a metre of yellow hose. It suits a diver going into a silted wreck in winter.
