SCUBAPRO MK17 EVO2 / S620Ti + R105 Octo + Level Set

Description

Titanium takes salt water without corroding, which counts on a second stage that stays wet between dives, and this set pairs one with a jacket in high-tenacity nylon meant to be kept for years. Here the MK17 EVO 2 and S620Ti regulator set with its R105 octopus meets a Level BCD at SCUBAPRO's set price, with a Compact SPG or Compact Combo 2 optional at set price. The S620Ti fits the large S600 diaphragm on a full titanium barrel inside a smaller reinforced technopolymer case, so it cracks early near the surface and puts little weight on the jaw. The sealed MK17 EVO 2 in forged chrome-plated marine-grade brass weighs 797 g in INT 232, with four high-flow low pressure ports. The Level's 420 denier EndurTex bladder wraps the ribs instead of closing on them, rotating shoulder buckles let the straps follow the shoulder line, and weight rides in quick-release pouches of up to 5 kg each. The Level is a jacket; back inflation means the Hydros range. It suits a harbour or wreck diver who wants a light second stage and prefers a jacket.
