Description

Harbour and wreck dives combine salt water with long bottom times, and this rig answers with a titanium-barrel second stage on a sealed first stage and a harness with nothing to snag. It is the MK17 EVO2/S620Ti regulator set and its R105 octopus on a 1 m yellow Super-Flow hose with the S-TEK Pure system package, sold together at the SCUBAPRO set price, and a Compact SPG or Compact Combo 2 can be added at set price. The S620Ti fits the large S600 diaphragm inside a smaller reinforced technopolymer case on a full titanium barrel, so it cracks early near the surface and leaves little weight on the jaw. The MK17 EVO 2 in front is a balanced diaphragm in forged chrome-plated marine-grade brass, 797 g in INT 232, with four high-flow low pressure ports and two high pressure ports at 15 degrees. The S-TEK Pure is one continuous length of webbing through a 3D formed backplate, with silicone epaulettes for the corrugated hose and a 13 kg Donut Wing whose lift stays predictable head-down. That wing is the single-cylinder size. It suits a wreck or harbour diver building a light, sealed DIR rig.
