SCUBAPRO MK25 EVO / A700 Carbon BT + R105 Octo

Description

Carbon fibre in the front cover is not decoration. It cuts mass off the part hanging in front of the teeth while absorbing an impact that would dent a metal cover, and the full metal casing and valve housing stay behind it doing the heat exchange, so the regulator still breathes like an A700. An inner layer of FDA-approved chemical nickel sits beneath the finish, and Diamond Like Carbon over both stages shrugs off scratches and salt that would mark plated chrome. Controls are unchanged: an air-balanced valve, a micrometric inhalation effort knob, an adjustable VIVA lever and a super high flow exhaust. The MK25 EVO BT first stage is a chrome-plated brass air-balanced piston with five low pressure ports on a swivel turret and XTIS insulation. The R105 octopus runs on a metre of yellow hose. It suits a diver who wants the flagship breathing with less weight on the jaw.
