Description

Metal casing and metal valve housing draw heat out of the surrounding water and into the mechanism, which is what lowers the freezing potential of a valve and what makes this the top air supply system in the range. The A700 works at 0.5 joules per litre and passes 2000 litres per minute at 200 bar against a maximum low pressure input of 14 bar, with a micrometric knob for inhalation effort and a realigned VIVA lever for venturi assistance. That metal case also holds moisture inside the second stage, which cuts the dry mouth that follows a long dive. The MK25 EVO first stage is polished chrome-plated marine-grade brass with external thermal fins and XTIS insulation. Two opposing high pressure ports let it sit either way up so the gauge hose falls to the left hip, and five low pressure ports on a swivel turret carry the rest, with intermediate pressure adjustable externally. It suits a diver breathing hard in cold water.
